Eabhal at Temperance

Eabhal's performance at Temperance was absolutely beautiful and their music reached into the very soul of the listener, it most certainly did for me.
It was absolutely electrifying to capture the five while they entertained in a black and white A3 art work that each band member then signed after they had finished yet another sold out gig in Leamington Spa’s Top notch music and cafe venue.
I was also very inspired by one particular song about a maiden's sadness of saying goodbye to her lover who is sent off to fight in a war. Sadness and loss of love is something very much felt universal and hits a chord many a time with myself and I'm sure many of you!
Do follow eabhal on their socials and you will not be disappointed by these very talented young Scottish Musicians.
Jason Buck at Temperance

An absolute delight to listen to the captivating story telling of Jason Buck of King Arthur and to capture some the 1st half of his story telling and himself in an art work is both a portrait and a direct response and illustration to various elements within the stories beginning to the point that Arthur free’s the sword from the stone to become King of England.
Personalised Portrait with Johanna
Monday 15th September
Absolute delight to have any commission but this was a very special sitting and experience. Johanna shared with me stories from her life along with selecting a song by Fleetwood Mac, Landslide that added to the overall experience and depth that I have begun to create and shape from the portrait from life experience.
The art work was started in the local Weatherspoon’s, Benjamin Satchwell in Royal Leamington Spa. The same place I had been the night before, drawing staff and imaginary landscapes to escape the rain and drink copious amounts of refillable decaf-tea
Creating art from life and life drawing is a very shared and unique experience. Its an honour to be asked to create something so personal for someone!
