This work is about the child like reaction I have when I fall in love with someone at 1st sight. The high energy that I experience is very child like and what I have become increasingly aware of a part of my ADHD. visually I wanted to create an homage to the loves from my childhood, The 80s had some wonderful cartoons and iconic characters with bright colours and strong black lines, like the Mr Men, the Muppets and Pac Man have all inspired this piece. I love creating random characters and images, not necessarily always doodles but drawings and paintings that celebrate the freedom of expression, just Like this piece.
